Dawes performed at Codfish Hollow Barn as part of the October 2009 Daytrotter Barnstormer tour. Other bands included Paleo, Brooks Strause, Snowblink, Chris Denny and the Natives and Suckers.
The fall chill came early last year, and folks needed to bundle up on a couple of the shows for the tour. The Maquoketa show was a really great show-- the crowd was motivated and fun and stuck it out even with the weather! The spotlight track on this set is the closer which was a 1-line singalong! Everyone in the barn was singing and really shows how special these Barnstormer shows have been.
